For a company to have survived this length of time is, of itself, no
mean feat, but to have prospered and diversified to become the
longest established and most successful rental company in the country
is an exceptional achievement.
Serendipity has, as ever, played its role but in large part we have
made our own luck and today we are a stronger and more broadly
based company than ever before.
Historic success is no guarantee of future prosperity and nothing
should be taken for granted. We must constantly challenge ourselves
to be better tomorrow than we were yesterday. In this way we will
ensure that the next sixty years will be as exciting and rewarding as
the previous sixty.
